Google announced that Google Map Maker, that has been launched in India has been designed and developed by Indian engineering team of Google. It allows user to add or edit features, such as roads, businesses, parks, schools, apartment buildings, localities and even more. With the help of Google Marker Tools, now users are able to add detailed information about their desired locations and other users can immediately view the updated information.

Now, it’s been several weeks that Google has blocked the ‘WebPosition Gold’, Google’s widely used search engine rank checking tool. In a post, Matt Cutts and Googler JohnMu have also spoke about the reasons behind this and the methods that have been used to block such automated rank checking tools.

Now according to Search Engine Roundtable, it seems that Google is determined on its resolution to evade the block scrapers, by deliberately changing the search results in an effort to confuse the scrapers.

Google has announced the introduction of its own web browser, called ‘Google Chrome.’ The new multi-functional web browser has been launched in the BETA mode, in more than 100 countries on Tuesday, September 2nd, 2008. For some time now, Google Chrome is exclusively available for Microsoft Operating System platforms, however, Google will release its versions for Mac and Linux as well. In the creation of Google Chrome, Google has used the components from Apple’s WebKit and Mozilla’s Firefox, instead Google is making it as an open source browser.
