Recently, Google came up with announcements regarding the addition of two features to its local search results. The first announcement was regarding the Google Suggest that has been launched internationally. The feature is being localized for local and cultural factors. Now, the tool is available in 51 languages.

The another announcement was about the expansion of Local News to the users in the UK, India and Canada. The feature was launched last year in the U.S. By far, Local News can be viewed by users automatically on the Google News home page, however, of you can’t see it, you can add it by using the “Personalize this page” tool.
