Recently, Google launched the much anticipated Google Analytics Data Export API With this feature, now developers can develop client applications that access Google Analytics data in the form of Google Data API feeds and then present in new and creative ways.

With Data Export API, one can also request data from an existing Analytics profile for an authorized user and also refine the results according to the query parameters.
Currently, Data Export API is available as public beta version and supports read-only access to Google Analytics Data. The current feeds in the Data Export API have two general categories of Analytics data:

• Analytics accounts and website profiles.
• Analytics report data from a single profile.

Besides, the API can also be used in a number of other cases. A developer can create a customized dashboard to integrate his most commonly viewed or requested page statistics, which would allow other team members to view reports without even accessing the Google Analytics reporting interface.
