Of late, Google has added a new feature to its Google Friend Connect – New Recommendation Gadgets. The new feature allows publishers that use Google Friend Connect to know which parts of their websites their visitors, like best.

Publishers can create the gadgets on Google Friend Connect’s site and then embed the code into their own sites. After the gadget is embedded, visitors can recommend the content they like, be it a whole page, articles, photos or any other content by clicking a “recommend it” button that accompanies any piece of content on the site. The items that are most popular or that get most votes will be listed at the top of the recommendation list. This would help both publishers and visitors to know what parts of a site are the most popular.
