Google Introduces Page Speed To Improve Web Pages Performance!
Recently, Google introduced Page Speed, a Firefox Add-on that comes with Firebug integration in its web community. Page Speed is a tool that helps improve and enhance the performance of web pages, without any external change.
The tool is a great deal of help for webmasters and developers to evaluate the performance of their web pages. Webmasters get a set of scores for each page and suggestions on how to improve its speed and performance when they run Page Speed on their pages. Page Speed performs several tests on a site’s web server configuration and front-end code. These tests are based on a set of accepted best practices known to enhance web page performance that all websites follow.
Google has also created a detailed documentation that describe the rationale behind these rules.
