Google Knol Now In French, German And Italian
Google has taken another remarkable step in the expansion of its online encyclopedia, Knol. Knol is now available in three more languages, namely French, German and Italian.

Upon its launch four months ago, Knol was said to be a competitor of Wikipedia. The former permits users to author their own articles, while the latter allows visitors to edit the incorrect information. Knol also has an option that displays authors’ photographs. However, we can say, Knol still is in its early stage of success. If we see , Knol is somehow lagging behind in terms of traffic, as compared to Wikipedia. Wikipedia still remains unbeatable, both credibility and trust wise!
It seems that Google is trying to reach the target audience with the help of this multilingual expansion that enables French, German and Italian experts to contribute their unit of knowledge to the online encyclopedia.
