Google has come up with a new wizard. It allows its users to create a Google News headlines box. The wizard is an integral part of the Google Ajax Search API’s “NewsShow” feature.

Here is the code that users need to copy and paste wherever they want their NewsShow to appear:

Google Executives May Serve Jail Time in Italy For Video

According to the reports of New York Times, Google executives are on trail, who have been accused for defamation and violation of the terms and conditions in reference to a video, that has been posted to the Italian Google Video site. It is a cellphone video of a Down Syndrome boy being teased by four boys from Turin.

“Four executives of Google begin trial Tuesday in Milan on criminal charges of defamation and privacy violation in regard to a video posted on Google’s Italian site.”

Yahoo! Search Marketing has recently updated its help center. Following are changes that have been made:

  • Better organization and easier navigation: Now, fewer clicks, and better navigation is the main motto of Yahoo! Search.
  • Stronger search functionality: Now, search results are more relevant than they used to be.
    Links: Users will now get links to their related search as well.
  • Single Page FAQ: The Help Center FAQs are now hosted on a single page. Users are not required to surf them every where.

Google SMS Search Working- Confirmed!

There have been a lot of talking about Google SMS Search that it has been facing certain complications. Some of the reports said that it is not working, others said, it is not functioning properly, while some even said it is dead! Well, finally it is confirmed that Google SMS search has been fixed and is working!

Google representative, Bret said, Google has “recently made some changes on our end to address this issue.”

Google AdWords Requires One Domain Per Ad Group

The reports revolving around Google’s requirement of one domain per ad group in their new display URL policy in the AdWords program were just speculations, until it was confirmed officially. Of late, an AdWords Advisor in a WebmasterWorld thread confirmed the change:

  • “I can confirm that there is a change coming up, the intent of which is to make sure users are sent to the site to which they expect to be sent.
  • That said, I am so far behind in general (which, by the way, also accounts for my less than sterling attendence in the forum the past week and more) that I am not yet up-to-speed on the details.

Google AdWords Opens Up “Conversion Optimizer”

Google AdWords has opened up Conversion Optimizer to greater eligibility. Customers who use AdWords’ free Conversion Tracking tool and have at least 30 conversions in the last 30 days are eligible or they can use Conversion Optimizer.

“We’re also happy to announce that the Conversion Optimizer is now available to all campaigns using AdWords’ free Conversion Tracking tool that also have at least 30 conversions in the last 30 days. So, if you were previously unable to use the Conversion Optimizer in AdWords, you may now be eligible to use it.”
