ComScore June 2008 U.S. Search Engine Rankings- Google Monopolizes the Search World!

In yet another round of search engine rankings, ComScore has released the ‘U.S. Search Engine Rankings for June 2008′. The latest results show that Google is still steaming ahead of the competition, but there has been slight improvements in the figures of Microsoft and Yahoo! as well. However, the figure for the raw searches for Google, have sky rocketed according to the latest figures, with record a record high of 11.5 billion searches.

For the month of June 2008, all across America, an astounding 11.5 billion searches were conducted in just 30 days and yet again Google was on top of the table with a major chunk of the search ration, a whopping 61.5%. Yahoo! recorded 20.9% searches, a slight jump from the figure of 20.6% in May 2008. Microsoft posted a gain amounting to almost 1% with a figure of 9.2%, where its figure for May was 8.5%.

As far as the core searches are concerned, Google dominated the search engine stage with 7 billion core searches (up 6%). Yahoo! posted 2.4 billion core searches (up 9%) and Microsoft recorded more than 1 billion core searches (up 15%).

In the category of expanded searches, the results remained the same, with Google finishing the race with 9.6 billion searches (up 9%), Yahoo! Sites came stood second with 2.6 billion searches (up 8%), Microsoft recorded 1.1 billion searches (up 14%) and AOL LLC had settle with a consolation prize of with 792 million searches.

    Google will going to lead everywhere you go. According to the latest data from hitwise google gained yet another percentage point on its biggest competitors last month and now accounts for more than 69.17% of United States searches in the U.K.
