Google Discourages Duplicate Meta Tags
Recently, at the Google Groups, it’s been talked about the topic of Duplicate Meta Tags. In this regard, Google has to say that even though it does not penalize Webmasters, it also does not encourage them to use Duplicate Meta Tags.
Webmasters have known for years that it is better to try and use unique Meta Tags to identify the page cotent.

Any possible suggestions, sorry if it’s not that clear.â€
“Hi StickyPages
It’s hard to make recommendations without knowing the URLs in question, but generally speaking the duplicate meta data information in Webmaster Tools is provided as a tip to help you to make your site
more compelling in search results to your users. You don’t have to clear all duplicate warnings out to win — make your site so that it makes sense to your users, and if that means that some URLs will
have duplicate meta data because that’s the way it makes sense to you, then so be it. Don’t worry too much about that.
