Google Sitemap Submission
A Google sitemap is created with XML format (Extensible Markup Language) which includes a list of URLs (date of last change, modification frequency, and relative priority). Google sitemaps will also give you top queries which pull traffic and how your website is faring in the seach engine result pages. If Google notices some erorrs or problems, your (via your Google account) will be informed.
Given below is an XML code example of what would be required for inclusion for every webpage of your website:

With Google sitemaps webmasters can access reports on when their website was last spidered. For this, webmasters have to place an HTML file along with the name given by Google to validate you are capable of managing the website. With Robots.txt file validation you can figure whether you are having problems wit your website. Moreover, you can alter and test drive the modifications before youhave to do it on the server. Google sitemaps also gives the benefit of Website content with which you can View top content from your site and see the words that other sites use to link to it.
According to Google webmaster, "The first time you submit a Sitemap to Google (whether you created it using the Sitemap Generator, a third-party tool, or manually created it), you must submit it by adding it to your Google webmaster tools account. This enables Google to provide you with useful status and statistical information. From your account, you can see if there are problems with your Sitemap or with any of the URLs listed in it. If you are adding a Mobile Sitemap, you must specify the markup language for the URLs contained in the Sitemap.
When you make changes to your Sitemap, you can resubmit it using your Google webmaster tools account or you can resubmit it using an HTTP request.
These steps describe how to add a Sitemap that contains URLs for non-mobile content (this includes most web sites). There are
additional steps for Mobile Sitemaps.
Once you have a Sitemap in one of the supported formats:
1. Upload your Sitemap to your site in the highest level directory you want search engines to crawl, generally the root. If you list
URLs in your Sitemap that are at a higher level than your Sitemap location, Google will be unable to include those URLs as part of the
Sitemap submission.
2. Sign into Google webmaster tools with your Google Account.
3. Add your site to your account.
4. Click Add a Sitemap next to the site for which you want to add a sitemap.
5. Choose General Web Sitemap.
6. Type the URL to your Sitemap location in the provided field. Make sure you include the entire URL, such as
http://www.example.com/sitemap.xml.
- Click Add Web Sitemap."
Now, after you’ve made the right move by creating a Google sitemap, your pages will be always be notified and newly crawled and indexed frequently.
