Microsoft Launches ‘Preview’ of its Social Bookmarking!
Microsoft has launced the ‘preview’ version of its new Social Bookmarking service. According to Microsoft’s John Martin, this new service is not fully operational yet and is only available in English for the meantime. This service is available for both MSDN and TechNet. However, even in the ‘preview’ version it will enable the memebers of the community to:
- Bookmark any URL on the web.
- Apply tags.
- Save bookmarks in the new ‘My Bookmarks Tool’.
Microsoft has enabled the bookmarks, bookmarkers and tags as links, hence making it easier for the users to ’surf’ through them and discover new content and people. The Social Bookmarking Tool is also embedded in user profiles, thus giving the users with new tools to increase their visibility, impact, and influence.

The following are the links to the now ‘Live’ preview of The Social Bookmarking Serice for MSDN, TechNet, and Expression. You must check it out!.
Microsoft has also started a forum for all users who may want to provide their valuable feedback to MSN regarding the new Social Bookmarking Service.
